Suzuki Motor Co., launched a special edition of Suzuki Jimny four-wheel limited edition. This car is offered in two variants, namely engine 1,000 cc and 1,500 cc DDIS as the previous generation.

Jimny 4x4 limited edition of only 200 units produced. Limited edition cars were produced as signifying 40 years of product warning Suzuki four-wheel (4x4).

Besides Jimny, Suzuki Grand Vitara also launched, SX4 Crossover, and the Swift hatchback 4x4. Grand Vitara special edition 40th anniversary was equipped with gasoline engines 1600 cc and 1900 cc diesel engine DDIS.

SX4 Crossover also offered in two vraian machines, each with 1600 cc petrol engine and 2,000 cc. The Suzuki Swift offered only in one engine variant, the 1200 cc petrol engine DDIS. All of these special edition models are marked with the logo 40 is chrome plated.

Just like Jimny, Grand Vitara, SX4, and Swift produced only 200 units. Suzuki attractive offer in the form of special services in the form of free maintenance for two years.

Suzuki began producing the model having a 4x4 in 1968, when the manufacturer was bought Hope Motor Company. At that time, Hope Motor has produced 15 units of small cars off road named HopeStar ON360.

In 1970, for the first time, Suzuki began to produce models having 4x4. That's Model was named LJ10, 359 cc engine with two stroke and air-cooled engine.
